Can I install the greenhouse myself?
Yes. Garden Pro greenhouses are designed for DIY assembly and include a detailed 32-page instructional manual
and video support to assist with the build process. After phone assembly support is available and it's important to
take the time to read through the instructions and watch the video before starting.
How many people are needed for assembly?
Two people are recommended for assembly, particularly when lifting, aligning, squaring and securing the
greenhouse. Some smaller preparation tasks may be completed by one person, but having a second person makes
the process easier and safer.
Can the greenhouse be extended later?
Selected Garden Pro models can be extended using compatible extension kits. This allows customers to increase
the greenhouse length later if their growing needs change. However, our Grange Series for the easiest model to
extend.
Due to the size, weight and length of greenhouse cartons, freight costs can vary significantly depending on your location and delivery requirements. Factors such as regional destination surcharges, distance from the nearest freight depot, and whether specialised unloading equipment (such as a Hiab crane truck for oversized cartons) is required can all impact the final freight cost.
Where possible, we provide instant freight pricing and options for Home Delivery or Depot Collection at checkout. However, for some locations, a precise freight quote can only be obtained after purchase. In these cases, the option will be listed as "Home Delivery – Freight Quotation Required", and our team will contact you promptly with a delivery quotation before dispatch. Should the freight quotation not be suitable, we are happy to discuss alternative delivery options.
The Garden Pro range is our popular hobby greenhouse series, ideal for home gardeners wanting a quality greenhouse at an accessible price point.
The Garden Pro Narrow range is designed for smaller backyards or tighter spaces.
The Provincial range offers a wider model, more feature-rich option for passionate gardeners, while the Lean-To range is designed to sit against an existing wall, shed or structure where space is limited.
Consider what you plan to grow now and what you may want to grow in the future. Many customers find they quickly fill their greenhouse, so where space and budget allow, choosing a larger model can provide more flexibility for benches, walkways, propagation and seasonal planting.
Yes. Garden Pro greenhouses are designed for Australian backyards and include strong aluminium framing, bracing, UV-protected polycarbonate panels and a Slide & Lock panel system designed for strength and longevity.
The best base is level, square, stable and well drained. Suitable options may include a concrete slab, pavers, compacted road base, crusher dust, gravel or a treated timber foundation. A well-prepared base helps the doors operate correctly and keeps the structure sitting square.
Yes. A level site is very important. If the base is not level or square, the frame can become difficult to assemble and the doors may not slide or close correctly. Any uneven ground should be corrected before installation begins.
Where possible, allow enough clearance around the greenhouse for access, cleaning, gutter maintenance and roof vent operation. A practical allowance of approximately 500-600mm around the structure is recommended where
space permits.

Like all greenhouses, internal temperatures can rise quickly during hot weather. Roof vents, good airflow, shade cloth and automatic vent openers can help manage temperature and reduce plant stress during summer.
The number of roof vents varies depending on the model and size selected. Larger greenhouse models generally require more ventilation than smaller models.
Shade cloth is highly recommended in many Australian locations during warmer months. It helps reduce direct heat, protect plants from harsh sun and create a more stable growing environment.
A practical layout usually includes zones for propagation, growing, potting and storage. Benches or shelving along the sides with a central walkway is a popular setup because it keeps plants accessible while maximising usable growing space.
Yes. Shelving, benches, hanging baskets and growing accessories can be added to maximise space and improve greenhouse organisation.
Popular flooring options include pavers, gravel, crusher dust, weed mat or a concrete slab. The best choice depends on your preferred finish, drainage requirements and how you plan to use the greenhouse.
Use warm soapy water and a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals or solvents that may damage the UV-protected surface.
Polycarbonate panels are designed for long-term outdoor use. Under normal conditions they should provide many years of service, although any damaged panels should be replaced to maintain strength and weather performance.
Garden Pro greenhouses are weather resistant, but no greenhouse is completely waterproof. Condensation and occasional minor water ingress can occur, particularly during heavy rain, wind-driven rain or extreme weather.
Inspect the greenhouse at least twice a year and after severe weather. Check bolts, doors, vents, guttering, anchoring points and panels to ensure everything remains secure and functioning correctly.
Garden Pro greenhouses use UV-protected twin-wall polycarbonate panels. These panels provide a balance of light transmission, insulation and durability for backyard greenhouse growing.
Garden Pro greenhouses are backed by a frame warranty and a limited panel warranty. Warranty terms may vary by specific product, so customers should always refer to the warranty details listed on the relevant product page or supplied documentation.
