As the cost of living continues to skyrocket, many of us are feeling the pinch and turning to growing our food in a bid to save money, eat healthier, while also taking control of our own food supply.

With simple planting and growing instructions on every seed pack, Survival Seed Kits make it easy to be prepared for an uncertain future, or to start relishing the benefits and satisfaction of fresh, homegrown food now.

Grow Food & Seeds

  • Heirloom/non-GMO: We don’t deal in GMO (Genetically Modified Organism) seeds. We have an array of concerns with seeds being bred in a lab and support the long-term sustainability of home gardening and agriculture.

  • Open-Pollinated & Heirloom Seeds: Open-pollinated plants are more genetically diverse than GMO & Hybrids, which allows plants to slowly adapt to local growing conditions and climate.

  • Harvest & Share Seeds: As big corporations flood the market with hybrid seeds, heirloom seeds are becoming harder to get. We encourage our growers to save and share seeds to maintain local control over our food system.

Each Survival Seed Packet includes specific medicinal use information, as well as loads of handy planting information like depth, row spacing, sun position, etc. – and even a planting calendar based on your growing region. *Please note, there may be substitutes in each pack depending on what we can source at the time, please contact us if you have any concerns or questions.

Are these seeds Organic? While not all of the seeds are certified organic, we strive to source seeds from growers who use organic and sustainable farming practices. We also offer a selection of certified organic seeds for customers looking for this specific certification.

    Are these seeds non-GMO?
Yes, all of the seeds are non-GMO. We are committed to providing seeds that have not been genetically modified in any way and are true to their heritage.

How long will my seeds remain viable for storage?
It depends on the variety. Peas and beans have been known to last for centuries in the right conditions, but for our kits we say 2 – 5 years as an average across all varieties.

To minimise loss in quality, we recommend to store our packs sealed in a dark, dry, cool location. A cupboard or drawer is normally sufficient short term (6 months – 1 year). For longer periods we recommend you store this packet sealed shut in your fridges crisper drawer. Avoid condensation by allowing the pack and seeds to come to room temp before opening. Don’t freeze seeds, if done incorrectly it can kill seeds instantly.

DISCLAIMER: There may be some minor changes to varieties depending on availability. Seed Packs each contain a varying amount of seeds. It is important that you consult with a healthcare professional before using any medicinal herbs, plants, or seeds if you are nursing, pregnant, taking medications, or undergoing treatment for any medical condition. The medicinal plant seeds contained in this pack are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. We are not liable for any consequences that may result from your decision to grow or consume any plants grown from these seeds. Please note that the seeds and resultant plants may contain inaccuracies, toxins, root invasion properties, or may be banned under local government restrictions. By opening this pack, you acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for any such matters to the fullest extent permitted by law.
